Ariel Friedler

Ariel Friedler, a Miami native, is a dynamic investor and accomplished entrepreneur who thrives on inventing and implementing cutting-edge technologies. His expertise lies in creating solutions that engage users, streamline processes, and optimize productivity. Ariel actively supports technology start-ups, consumer product ventures, food-related enterprises, and later-stage companies. Additionally, he has a keen interest in real estate.

During his time at Northwestern University, Ariel kickstarted his entrepreneurial journey by founding Symplicity Corporation in 1996. Initially focused on bridging the information gap between college recruiters and graduating students through published books, Ariel soon recognized the web’s potential. He transformed Symplicity into a groundbreaking software platform—one of the world’s largest for college recruitment. Under Ariel’s leadership, Symplicity’s solutions have positively impacted over 41 million students, staff, employers, and government constituents worldwide.

In 2016, Ariel orchestrated the sale of Symplicity to H.I.G. Capital, a prominent global private equity investment firm managing over $20 billion in equity capital. Beyond his academic achievements, including serving as the President of the Student Government at Northwestern, Ariel holds a law degree from Georgetown Law and is a member of the Florida Bar.

He currently resides in Miami with his wife, daughter, and son.
